The Nika Project

TRC has been instrumental in the creation of the Nika Project, a non-profit organization that takes donated, refurbished technology tools to special needs communities around the globe. On our 5th year as an organization and our first year as a non-profit, Nika has ongoing current projects in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Nigeria and future projects in Guatemala, Peru, Trinidad, and Mexico. Marin tech center gets $100K upgrade

After 17 years in operation, a center that offers technology training for Marin's 4000 special needs students got a $100,000 upgrade.
"It's so much more than a fresh coat of new paint," said Dan Phillips, director of the county's Technology Resource Center in San Rafael. "What we needed was to open the eyes of a whole new generation."
